Thank you for the information, Don Hawkins. Obviously things have changed
since the last time I asked around, which delights me beyond words. I will
gladly pass this on to people in the region who have expressed similar
concerns to me.

If I can get 14 people on the field at Mooneschadowe, perhaps 6 of them will
fight regularly. If I can only get three, I'm not going to get 6 out of that.

I realize that I am not an old hand at marshaling, or the SCA, or rapier
fighting, or cow juggling. (Sorry, that last one slipped out.) I can only
operate on my own observations over the period of time I have witnessed.

I commend those people who are successfully running practices in our region
that I am unaware of, and ask them if they are reading this to send me
information on their practices that we (or at least I) might arrange to field
trip and share in the fun.
