I agree - paper versions as well as online.

And be careful about the copyright stuff, because things that might be OK in
paper, may not be OK online.  On the other hand, the online materials can
link to references online, which is handy.  Remember that just because
something appears in an SCA publication does not mean it can be scanned and
placed online; that's why the Chroniclers' Permission Form has a separate
checkbox for Internet as opposed to paper usage.

The little intro articles and supplements can have three big advantages:
First, for people who are new to writing, they can have a taste without
having to do an entire article or pamphlet.  For example, contributing a new
weaving pattern, without having to explain the whole theory of warping and
selection of threaeds/yarn.

Second, they can get people learning things they might not otherwise know
about, or have the ability to learn about.  And they might find someone in
their home group or the next one over who is an "expert" in the field!

And third, if the Guild wants to do something and needs to fundraise, just
sell copies!
