Gentle, grace-filled, Tessa:
You inquire after what emotion we as performing bards
thrill at engendering. It is in my heart that ALL emotion
induced by my performance conveys some thrill back to me
(almost invariably, whatever emotion I am attempting to
convey I will feel myself -- the performance being truly
worthy, anyway). If I must pick just one or two, I will hope
that my words and their recitation can foster Love and
a sense of History.
Hoping that your health is improving, and hopefully having
fought off my own bout of "sweating sickness" ... (tidbit from
History Channel: influenza was commonly referenced as
"sweating sickness" in the time of Henry VIII of England).
