[DFT] DFT Exchequer

[Seneschal of Dragonsfire Tor]

Greetings DFT,

We start this day with a new Exchequer, Master Caelin.

I would like to thank Baroness Janie for her many years of service to our
great Canton.  She has been the Exchequer of the Canton before.  Just
before she became our Exchequer this last time, over three years ago, she
was Central Region Exchequer.  She stepped up to be our Exchequer when our
exchequer at the time quit.  At the end of her two years, we had no one
else to take her place so she extended for a third year.  Unfortunately
after just a few months Rebecca had to move from the area and again Janie
stepped up again to fill the void.  This is a major problem with smaller
groups; we have few people to fill key positions.  As a Canton we are
required to have an Exchequer and Seneschal.  Because we only have few
members, we rotate in and out of offices passing up the opportunities to
hold Regional or Kingdom offices.

Thank you Baroness Janie for you hard work and dedication to Dragonsfire
Tor.

Master Caelin comes to us with a boat load of experience both as an
Exchequer and Seneschal.  He has been Kingdom Exchequer as well as
Exchequer for the Region and for Elfsea.  And he just completed 2 years as
Seneschal for Elfsea.  He is defiantly a Pelican!

Thank you Master Caelin, for stepping up to be our Exchequer.  As Seneschal
of our Great Canton, I look forward to working with you as our canton grows.
