I think this is a good Idea though it may be difficult to coordinate running
multiple fields. If you want to try to work oiut the details I wouls be glad
to have such an able person take care of the fighters and feild personelle
at Defender!

Darius and Rosalia

>Many of our events have us fighting in more heat than the Highland
>Games. We *do* need to make sure the fighters drink lots of water
>and watch themselves. If they feel too hot, then drop out for a
>while and cool off. Keeping the line under the tent was a very good
>idea. At future events, we should look into putting some shelter for
>the line of fighters directly on the edge of the list field. It should
>be roped off to ensure that the spectators don't use it up. The water
>bearers could set up a table with water and fruit on it. Sort of a
>bull-pen for fighters! Darius: I would be willing to set this up for
>Defender, if you approve.
