ES - defender culture

Ok my turn.....  Dearest Bayne,
     Been there... but... the site in burleson had it's problems.  the first 
and most inportant was no running water.  they told us their well never 
recovered from the drought from last summer.  Second we spent over 600 
dollars on portapoties per event.  Third there was limited electricity there 
are several people in our barony who need electricity for medical reasons.  
We had to pay to have a dumpster brought in, and the last event we needed 
two of them (extra cost).  I persoanlly found it difficult to walk up the 
steep hill with out being in pain.  the site in canton eleviated alot of 
those issues.  Yeah I'd like to find something out in the country where we 
can really see the stars at night.... but  that may be next to impossible.  
I still have my eyes pealed.  There are several people in Elfsea who are 
looking to go in together and buy a place... We'll see - Arabella

What site is Defender going to take place at?
I assume we are planing on Canton.  If this is true is it too late to look 
for a
better site?
I appreciate that Canton is going to be the site for Warlord for the 
forseeable
future but
I really liked the most natural site we previously had for Defender.  I have
heard that we
no longer are going to have that site for events.  Has any thought been 
given to
the possiblity
of searching for and obtaining a more natural/nicer site for Defender?  I 
know
that the wooded setting
was always a very pleasant experience and added to the ambiance of the camp 
for
me.  I have been
keeping an eye out but there just are not that many heavily wooded camping 
areas
in this area.  I know that
Crown this year we used what is commonly a day only park.  Would this be
possibility.
Just a few questions and thoughts, no criticism implied.
