I thought I would respond to some of the items that were mentioned here by
Lady Eleanor.

Here are my few and humble suggestions:

1. A PERMANENT toilet room. Port-o-johns are nice for
a day but...the ones there this weekend just got a
little too ripe for this lady. I know that there are
plans for them and I will eagerly await them.

* Plans and funds are available for a permanent bath house on site. It will
have flush toilets and showers. All he needs is a contractor to do the
work, including pouring the slab, and he will start it. Know someone?

2. A Bath house. Lady Maria hit the nail right on the
head with this one. I swear I've never appreciated a
shower more than I did Saturday afternoon while I was
getting ready for the wedding. :O)

* See above.

3. Clearing of some trees. Simply because I noticed
some vehicles had some trouble getting through the
roadway.

* Already under way. Lord Wilim has marked about 11 trees around the loop
that will be removed by Academy of the Bow, which will likely be the next
Elfsea event at that site.

4. Running water. This would be a good thing to have
further into the campsite.

* Plans for this are also already laid. For a first move they intend to get
it to the merchant area and feast area. This is important to them, as our
merchant area is Amtgard's list field.

Other than that, I love the site. I know most people
will want electricty and, I have to say, I agree. Fans
will be a great asset come July. I'm not sure exactly
how this would be done but I think it would be a great
idea.

* Electricity is available in limited areas on site, such as Special Needs
and the Merchant Area. Personally I think the price of electricity in the
campsites, which is large electric poles, is to much of a distraction. But
that is my personal opinion.

To Lord Timothy: Thank you for choosing such a lovely
site. You did a wonderful job. While there are
improvements to be made, Tanglewood provided just the
right amount of ambiance. My family was definitely
smitten by the site (once they found it! *G*).

* I am pleased you enjoyed your time at Springfaire, and glad you liked the
site. I pray that all those who like this site give support to Lord Wilim
and others who may use the site in the future.
