Loch Ruadh has a monthly bardic the third Wednesday of every month, as well as frequent guild meetings (woodworkers & sometimes metalworkers) and combined fighter practices at Lord Polydore's keep. Lady Elizabeth has hosted a monthly garb making workshop for several months running, and Lady Gwenllian frequently adds her expertise to these gatherings. Sometimes this is done in conjunction with a trip to the fabric district in
Dallas. Honorable Lady Asa usually hosts a monthly S&I, Lady Aingeall recently had a meeting to discuss banner making, and Loch Ruadh's regular fighter practice is frequently combined with a bardic or some other A&S class. Lord Alaric taught knot work, Duchess Willow had an Ansteorran history/story telling class, etc.

And don't forget, Dragonsfire Tor has forge night every Wednesday.

Our Barony is a very busy place, and I for one am just overwhelmed with all the opportunities for learning! Every time I have tried something new, I have only met with encouragement and enthusiasm from my teachers. (Of course, the only things I've ever entered in competition are my egg custard, spelt bread, and bardic pieces, but I can't say as I haven't fared too badly on those accounts.)

Lady Madelina de Lindesay
Argent, in fess two goblets within a bordure vert semy-de-lis argent. (Can you tell I've been studying heraldry lately??)
