Im a newbie so go easy on me for the following blasphemies :)

1) barring any conflicts with existing would the following pass:

Per chevron azure and argent, three crampons or. Or would that violate
the metal on metal tincture rule seeing how the bottom single crampon
would be completely fielded by argent.

2) Is following source an accepted source for breaking the color on
color and metal on metal rules:
