what about a possible conflict with Ian of Gloucester- July  of 1981 (via
Atlantia):  “Argent, a grey wolf dormant proper and on a chief sable   three
fountains.”


I think gray proper and sable are remarkably the same. it would have to be a
dark gray to stand out against the argent field.  so we have only changed the
wolf to a falcon. does it count for something that one is a bird and the
other a quadraped? is this a cd for posture?
