I have to put in that each Kingdom has a tradition and that includes tradition
on armory as well. I think if this was a personal badge there would be no
problem but since this is a Kingdom badge we should follow Kingdom custom on
charges and the color of each charge. Could the removal of the demi sun in
base be dropped? It would not hurt the symbolism of the device as part of the
inherent history of the Kingdom includes being part of Atenveldt. I think we
have been a Kingdom separate from our parent Kingdom long enough to no have a
visual reminder of it on an officers badge. To change the color of the demi-sun
is basically to change the meaning of why the demi sun was on the Kingdom
device
in the first place.
