[ANSTHRLD] Is this normal? Is there a tracer system?

Thanks to everyone who beat me to the punch on this one...saves some
typing time for me.

One last thing to add, especially as you are thinking of becoming a
local herald: most of these delays happen at the local level or in
the transit of the forms from the local to Asterisk. When I held that
office, I got a phone call from a local, who said that he had express
mailed me some forms. Exactly one month later, the express mail
packet made it to my house. I have also had mail that never arrived
and involved emails to local heralds, regional heralds and their
counterparts in the exchequer who needed to cancel checks.

At the end of the day, everyone needs to follow up - local heralds who
submit should be looking for their submissions in the Gazette, and
submitters should be looking at the heralds web page where it explains
in great detail the submissions process and how to find out where you
submission might be.

Those web pages are not the private stomping ground for the CoH. They
are for everyone. As you look at becoming a local herald, please know
that one of the things that you are responsible for doing is educating
your populace and sometimes, education can mean learning about
something new together.
