You can't inherit a larger count, but did you know that the limits
were raised from 4 to 6 a little while ago?  (That is, six names + six
pieces of armory for everything but an SCA branch that has a
ceremonial head.)  Does that help?


That's news to me! :)  Was that mentioned in an LOAR Cover Letter?  Is there a summary of changes to the latest CoA Admin Handbook available?

The limit on devices is still one though, so any devices transferred would need to be accepted as a badge, unless the recipient wishes to retain one transferred device as a device, and redesignate their prior existing device as a badge.
