The possible conflict cited was submitted through Ansteorra (specifically from Loch Ruadh) in 2007.  They may be active still or the people in that group may know how to contact her if you are interested in trying to get a Letter of permission to Conflict instead of changing half the cross to gules.  Just a thought.
