That's true, but Pennsylvania has not had the summer that Texas has. 
They have been averaging rain about twice a week, with temps in the high
70's - low 80's.  The peppermint should be blooming, the Joe-Pye weed
will be 6' + tall (a nice variation to a feather in your hat!), there's
horsetail, jewelweed, (gee, where is that Pennsic Herbal?) there should
be plenty of green for the admiring.  I understand you won't be there, so
we'll think green thoughts your way!
