Years and years ago, in Caid, a series of classes on herbalism was held
through colligium. I didn't get to take all of them, but I kept my class
notes and handouts on the ones that I did take. My notes include growing
herbs in our area, cosmetic use of herbs (this one included samples that we
could experience, and I still make bath salts using the instructions from
that class), medieval gardening and layouts, harvesting and storing herbs,
medicinal recipies, herbal housecleaning (I've been soaking orange peels in
vinegar and using that with baking soda to clean with ever since), A short
course on the Doctrine of Humors, pictures from medieval medical texts,
properties of herbs, herbal folklore, and more.

As far as the type of classes that I would like

1. Field identification / what do plants look like in nature / - If any
of you live in Arkansas, and know about this, please contact me. I just
know that my parents' woods and lake have all kinds of useful plants, if I
just knew enough to identify them!!
(the stinging nettle I learned the hard way! :(

2. Hands on in making salves, lotions, tinctures, both cosmetic and
medicinal
3. Hands on classes of any kind.
