Katerine, 

I tasted the crytallized ginger.  It was quite sweet but had a biting,
lingering aftertaste.  Maybe chocolate coating would spice it down a bit.
 Its worth a try and one I won't mind doing.  A chocoholics dream
actually -  Mixing period spice with modern addiction.
