Elewyiss,

Lady Diana had some great suggestions. What you can grow will depend on what
part of Georgia you're in. But starting right now, you can possibly still
get in a crop of beans or cucumbers before the first frost if you aren't too
far north. Relatively easy fall vegetables are: beets, carrots, chard,
collards, lettuce, garden peas, potatoes, radishes, spinach, and turnips.
Other vegetables - broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, fennel, greens, kale,
kohlrabi, leeks, onions, parsnips, salsify, scallions.

For some old fashioned or period flowers, this is probably a good time for -
calendulas, 4 o'clocks, columbines, nasturtiums, bachelors buttons, possibly
sunflowers and marigolds.

For herbs, a few you might have luck with are: sage, parsley,
coriander/cilantro, dill, chamomile, chives, rosemary, thyme.
