Medieval medical drawings as posted at the United States National 
Library of Medicine website available at http://wwwihm.nlm.nih.gov/

An outstanding source of real images, nearly 60,000 from all time 
periods. The collection includes portraits, pictures of institutions, 
caricatures, genre scenes, and graphic art in a variety of media, 
illustrating the social and historical aspects of medicine.
