I guess I worded that wrong - the word induction seems to be on everyone
toungues, and I would prefer it not to be on mine. What I meant to say was a
natrural way to aid labor. I have been having contractions for three weeks on
and off - like I said, and in actuality they started pretty regular really
early this morning - so maby the point is moot anyway - I will let you know.
However my original question was for herbs that aid in labor, making the
contractions more consistant, or something along those lines. As for just
"taking" them, I wounldn't take that risk, anything recommended would be
brought up to my doctor before I ever ingested it. That is why I asked for a
list I could research, instead of something I could just take. The reason for
quickening my labor past it's natural cycle actually has to do with my
insurance - their stipulations require I work until I deliver - I work in
retail and can only sit down a few times a day - making it very very difficult
to work anymore. If I call in sick to many times because I literally can't
handle the pressure it's putting on my pelvic region because he's dropped so
far I will loose both my job and my insurance. I guess i should have
stipulated my motivation behind this desire, my apologies. I am hoping these
contractions I've been having since three am are the real thing - if they are
then I can do what I've been hoping to do all along and have a natural
childbirth. The added pressures of work have made me less than patient - my
apologies if my question alarmed anyone.

I still would like to know if anyone knows about how accepted breast feeding is
at events. Now that I am having my baby I plan on joining the SCA - which was
not possible while I worked.
