That certainly sounds right. I've found some drawings but no
pictures. This one:

seems to look very close, so I'm guessing I'm right.
Something I found at this site as well, interestingly,
is that Sweet Annie is being examined in China for its
strong effect on HIV. I knew about its use as a treatment
for drug-resistant strains of malaria, but this HIV
research makes me happy. I always am interested in it.

I don't suppose anyone has made lye-based soap with
the oil before? You might have called it "annual
wormwood oil"? Or potpourri perhaps? I'm really just
musing on possible uses... :)
