[Herbalist] Re: Period perfume receipes

Greetings to all:

Fri. Dec 2001, the Herbalist Digest, Vol 1 #128 contained a message
 about perfumes from Melandra: "Also - does anyone happen to have
 a period recipie for Perfume oils?"

I would also appreciate some guidance in this matter. Perhaps the
name of some books that would have history of perfume as well as
receipes or a period scorce, such as an herbal. Please point me
to where to start.
