Try looking under "Aloe". :)

Aloe is great at healing skin, but straight from the leaf tends to be a bit
drying, sometimes.

Never heard of something turning purple FROM ALOE, but I have had this
happen to a popped blister.  It's normal.  The top skin layer will be
thicker & dryer than it was, eventually turning brittle.  At that point, you
can use scissors to trim it off (you could do that now -- it's dead cells).
