I have never done this. Having said that....
I can't find my source right now, but as I recall, the directions were to
take a rose bud with stem, dip the end of the stem in bees wax, and wrap it
in tissue. Store in a cool place. Supposedly when you want to use it,
you cut the end of the stem off, soak the rose in warm water, and it will
bloom out. If I can find my source, and if it is substantially different
from this, I'll repost it....
