Greeting In just under three weeks Harvest End will be upon us.  To celebrate this Gates Edge will be holding a tournament to truly test you skill and prowess on the field.  To this end the weapons have been chosen to truly test your skill in the Viking art of war.  You will be tested with the spear, sword and axe and for those who survive to the final rounds there will be a holmgang the rules of which will be announced at the time of the tournament.  So bring your Shield, bring your Sword, bring your Axe and bring your Short Spear and test your skill.   The rounds will be 1st sword and shield2nd axe and shield3rd short spear and shield  The finals will be a Holmgang with the weapon choices limited to those above.  The details of the Holmgang will be revealed after the first three round are complete.  Our steward as seen fit to grant a resurrection for this tournament in return for the offering of a toy for Toys For Tots.  This resurrection will be good for negating one kill and can be used once during the first three rounds. If you believe you have what it takes to be our next champion then i say welcome.
