[Loch-soilleir] October Populace and other news

Unto the Loch does Herrin Hedwig, seneschal send warmest greetings!

I have called the Clear Lake Park offices and they assure me that, although
the park will remain closed indefinitely, the meeting room will be open at
the beginning of October.  This means that we will be able to hold our
monthly populace meeting.  YAY!  A smidgen of normalcy returns!  Due to the
situation at hand I believe we will revert to our old format of business and
then perhaps Jason's for the month of October.
I would like to announce and congratulate Master Galen of Okham on his
appointment to deputy MoAS.  I was going to announce this at populace last
week but Ike decided I needed to take a protracted visit to East Texas (and
promptly followed me....stupid Ike.)

In case someone missed the announcement, Tourney by the Loch has been
canceled in order to allow our populace the ability to recover and
recuperate.  We will have Loch Yule in December and there are several other
events going on in October and November.  Most notably Bordermarch Autumn
Melees.  This will be a HUGE event this year and one not to be missed if you
can afford to go.  They will need much volunteer help and the activities
will be many.  So, if you need an event fix by then, that is the place to
be.

I hope everyone fared well and is recovering from the storm.  Please
remember that the Loch is your extended family and if you need any help with
anything do not hesitate to post or call and ask.  There is someone out
there who has that skill set or those tools and can come and get it done
with you.
