[Namron] Gulf War and Motherhood

On the subject of kids clothes, don't forget that layering is warmer than
wrapped in a blanket. It will also help cushion them from the ever present
'Can I have a turn holding the baby?' Many people forget that our little
ones get sore too.

When you are planning the activities you want to attend, remember the little
one's schedule. He (for Benn)/She (for Mary) will simply not understand
that you can't feed them until AFTER that spinning/brewing/autocratting
101/{insert class name here} class is over...

Carry extras of all necessities. If you think you are only going to be out
of camp for the duration of 3 diapers, take 6. You never really know when
the 'urge to venture off schedule' is going to hit. Also, remember (for
those of you first timers to Gulf) that this is also your baby's first time
to gulf. They are going to tire more easily because there is SO MUCH TO SEE
and the sounds, smells, and such are all different too. Try to set a place
in your tent that is as 'normal' as the little one is used to. This will
give them a place where they can 'unwind' if they get too overwhelmed with
all the 'new'.
