The Barony of Namron is now accepting bids for tavern and feast at
Protectorate XLII, The Traveler’s Guide to the Known World. Protectorate
will be held October 5-7 at Camp Graham Ball in Holliday, TX.
Tavern and feast bids are due by 8:00 pm on Thursday August 2nd. Please
send all bids to the financial committee at the email addresses listed
below ( we will forward bids to the at-large members). Incorporation of the
theme is highly encouraged for both tavern and feast, but is not required.

For both tavern and feast bids, be sure to include steward contact
information, a budget, proposed meal prices, and number of meals sold and
served. Don't forget to include things such as paper goods and propane (as
needed) in your bid. You are also welcome to include recipes or any
additional information that might help your bid stand out.
Tavern Bids: Please provide a bid for both breakfast and lunch on Saturday
of the event. Tavern will have use of some refrigerator space, but use of
the kitchen will be given to feast preparation. While a layout for this
year’s event is still in the works, historically tavern has been prepared
and served on the covered patio attached to the main hall. Preference will
be given to a tavern that benefits the Barony, then another official SCA
group (another barony, canton, etc.), then anyone else. We are limiting the
event to one tavern food vendor, but the financial committee may consider a
bake-sale type fundraiser if requested.
Feast Bids: Feast will be held Saturday evening. The kitchen at Graham Ball
has a walk-in cooler, an upright refrigerator and freezer, an oven, a
griddle and several burners. Proceeds from feast will go back to the barony.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you,
Lady Uliana (mka Julia Haiduk)
