Northkeep and the Cantons of Chemin Noir and Wyldewode are all in Phase 2 this week! However, the Phases are being phased out, see the announcement at the end of this email.

Sunday, May 2nd - Archery Practice from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at the City of Coweta Archery Park (35079 E 151st St South Coweta, OK), pending weather complications.

Monday, May 3rd - A&S Night at 7pm on Zoom. Castle Discussion.
Damon & Ismet have been blessed with the opportunity to visit several European castles, and will be showing pictures and sharing information that they have gleaned from their travels. Join us to learn about where your persona may have lived or battled, or to just get some places to add to your bucket-list itinerary!
This will definitely be a discussion forum. You are highly encouraged to read the introductory article in the latest Nordic Saga (https://ansteorra.org/.../sites/11/2021/03/202104Apr.pdf<https://ansteorra.org/northkeep/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2021/03/202104Apr.pdf>) to get your thoughts brewing. They also have some non-castle museum items which might be of interest: The Viking Boat museum in Roskilde and the Liere Danish research center (Iron Age & Viking age).

Wednesday, May 5th - Rapier Practice from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Turkey Mountain Park, 6800 S. Elwood Ave. We meet at the large pavilion to the east of the parking lot.


IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ BELOW!
Effective May 1st all adult martial practices resume with alignment to Society event restrictions:

  *   Outdoor practices only
  *   Face masks covering nose and mouth
     *   Solid barriers within helms/masks will no longer be considered equivalent in compliance with Society event restrictions.
  *   No sharing of food and water
  *   Compliance with local jurisdictional restrictions

Youth martial activities and indoor practices will resume at a future date yet to be determined.
