PE - Period Grommets

Hi Wendy,

Most of the ms showing tents in the Medieval period that I have come 
across don't go into the detail of showing how the grommets were 
done.

Some of the German wood cuts from the 16th century may show 
some detail.

I will have to check my collection of pictures and get back to you.

> Did they use the "ring & whipstitch" method (I tried it - not as easy as it
