SCRIBE’S DAY OUT…

Please join us for an A&S - Scribal Day, Saturday, August 3rd at Chrystal & David’s house in Huntsville, TX from 10:00am -?

We will have Mistress Curstaidhe from Stargate who will be there to talk about being a Sable Scroll (holding a regional position office &/or assisting Their Majesties during a reign). Also to be covered will be the history of where designs for the currently used kingdom charter scrolls came from & a short how to design scrolls overview; give pointers on how to paint charter scrolls; how to get the best use of your materials at hand; etc.

Please bring any supplies & material that you may have related to scroll work of any kind and any books you may want to share. Mainly this day will be devoted to the Scribe & Illumination activity. MAYBE, later that afternoon, we might discuss doing other A&S activities, scribal activities come first...

A pot-luck grill & supper will be happening later in the early evening hours.(those wanting to eat, please bring enough to feed three - four people). Then, afterwards, we will have a period movie night. We have many period films to choose from or bring your preferred – we can vote if needed (DvD, Laser Disc or VHS format is available).

Crash space is available (limited beds, but lots of floor space), make your reservations now if needed.
