  Personal opinion, if someone is going to look close enough to
  nit-pick over long or short grain rice tell them they are fried grubs
  and it was a a long and eye straining job removing all those little
  feet!

You never worry to this degree because of a concern about other people's
reactions, but because it is part of your learning and your personality.

In my experience, anyway.  If I had to worry about that level of detail
because others demanded it, I'd demand that *they* cook, and not me.
