OK, my 2cents woth.....
It seems to me that you told the autocrat in plenty of time about your
unwillingness to do the feast.  Don't feel bad.  I'm sure the group will be
able to get another feastocrat.  You are perfectly entitled to feel the way
you do & have your own limits as to what kinds of feasts you will or won;t do.
