I applaud your shire.  It is truly awesome that a group of 10 people
with just a few friends can do so much for so many.  

Feasts held in my area of Meridies are almost always supplemented by
volunteer servers.  There has never been a problem and we use the same
method of a server from each table quite often.

As Democrat of my own group, believe me I know how hard it is line
things up and hope for the support you need.  We did a demo' at  a local
school today and five of my friends came out to help me.  I feel so
honored to have friends
like I have found in the SCA.
