Medieval Times is a dinner show.  It's not a historical re-creation.  It's 
not a documentary.  It's not the SCA.  It's not a Ren Fair. It's a DINNER 
SHOW!  Entertainment for the masses.  How many of you on this list who are 
ridiculing this company for their "unauthenticity" actually use period 
stitches when making your garb?  How many use sewing machines???  Let he who 
is without sin cast the first stone.  If you can't suspend your disbelief 
long enough to see a few locals whack each other around on horseback, then 
don't go.  That's the beauty of this country (and many others)...freedom of 
choice.
