As it happens, my protege has similar training to yours.  I am not so arrogant to
think that I know more than he does about cooking per se, so I am coaching him in
other areas, such as  SCA-period-appropriate foodstuffs, historical research and
documentation, the general deportment of a gentleperson in the Society, all that
stuff.  In the meantime, I'm learning quite a bit from him.  I hope you find
someone in your kingdom who is wise enough to establish a mutually educational
relationship like ours.
