[Sca-cooks] Arts and Traditions of the Table

Has anyone had the opportunity to read or borrow the Arts and
Traditions of the Table: Perspectives on Culinary History books? One
title is "Salt : Grain of Life" and another is "Culture of the Fork".
I was wondering if anyone had looked at them and had an opinion on
them. I was thinking about getting them through ILL.
