Although the obverse is often true.  :-).

Daisy has suddenly realized that I am the Alpha male in the house and spends
most of her time under the bed.  Lets hope she doesn't have one of those
growth spurts while under there.  The thought of a dog's head in the middle
of the three acre bed might be a bit much for The Cute Little Red Haired
Girl.
