[Sca-cooks] OT: Cleaning help...

Apparently months ago a bottle of oil tipped over beside my stove in
a place i didn't see. Now there's this patch of dried oil - kinda
like a leathery skin, adhered to the floor. Anyone have any
suggestions for what would be the best solvent to remove it from an
unglazed Mediterranean ceramic tile floor? I don't want to scratch
the tile...
