Noble Cousin!

Greetings from Solveig! I have a copy of an entire monograph
in an architectural series on Japanese kitchens. Unfortunately,
it is entirely in Japanese. However, if you are interested,
I can send you information about it.

I suppose that I should answer the original question. I
am currently working on a minor monograph about food and
cookery of the late Muromachi to Genroku periods in Japan.
It will be called Samurai Chef and will include a complete
translation of Ryorimonogatari as well as material drawn
from other late sources.

After that, I hope to write similar monographs about
food of the Courtier Class going back to at least the
Nara period when the Japanese court was drinking milk.
This will be called Noble Chef.

After that, I hope to write monograph about Buddhistic
cooking which will be called something like Buddhist Chef
or something like that. Among other things, it will include
a complete translation of the dietary regulations of Dogen.

So, I suppose I have a rather full plate.
