Welcome to the list.  Buckle up...it gets kind of
bumpy in these parts :)

There is a lot of great advice/information on this
list (and not just regarding period cookery).  When in
doubt about a question, check Lord Stefan's
Florilegium... a quick web search for just about any
topic will probably surrender the url...
