Only when considering *glatt* kosher are the lungs looked at especiallly
carfully. for glatt they must be free from any blemish, while for regular
kosher, some blemishes are allowed.

Not true. A kosher permitted animal is only considered kosher or treif AFTER
it is slaughtered.
