Well, there is a concoction known as "lebanon" bologna which is made in the
town of Lebanon, PA (which is pronounced roughly "LEB-i-nin" (short i's), not
"LEB-a-NON"), which comes in either standard or sweet flavor (which is
usually just referred to as "sweet bologna"). It's fairly chunky, dark brown
with white speckles, and a pronounced smoke flavor, with the sweet version
being, well, sweeter. Pretty good, and very good smeared with cream cheese
and rolled up for one of the variants of "fighter snacks", the other being
dried beef and cream cheese. Lebanon bologna and cream cheese roll-ups are
also a fairly popular cheap party appetizer in this area.
