The thing that makes me think of my dad is this double fudge ice cream that
31 flavors used to make.  It was ALMOST black, and very rich.  My dad, as
far as I remember, never cooked but that's what credit cards are for, right?
;)

I still go on my birthday (every year) to the restuarant he used to take me
as a kid (The Smoke House, a GREAT prime rib joint in Burbank, right across
the street from Warner Brothers Studio).  One year, George Clooney was
sitting right across from us and was supposedly giving me a weird look when
I opened up my birthday presents and put a stuffed zebra on my head. :)
