Yes, but you just gotta have canned artichoke hearts to make
the standard dip of any evening for women getting together
without their husbands... which calls for canned artichoke
hearts...As to when or where it was concocted--who knows
but it's been the dip of choice for the past decade or longer.
ARTICHOKE DIP
Ingredients:
1 can artichoke hearts
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F. Mix together
sour cream, mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese. Add artichoke hearts and
mix thoroughly. Turn into a baking dish and bake until
done... hot and bubbly.
