Since I wanted to try the recipe this weekend, I opted to make my
own, using a modern recipe. It's going to be finely chopped and
put into a pie. I'm trying the carrot-cheese pie from Granado. (It's
in the Florilegium, in the Spanish food file.)

If the recipe passes muster, and I decide to include it in my feast
menu, I'll be making the candied peel for the feast, as I'll be on a
tight budget.
