Very Midwestern traditional:

turkey
stuffing with raisins (because my aunt made it--I picked out the raisins
and gave them to my mother)
gravy, with mushrooms
mashed potatoes
white dinner rolls and butter
corn
jello salad #1, with carrots and pineapple and pecans
jello salad #2, with cranberry jello and possibly cool whip
sweet potatoes
pickles, sweet and dill, some homemade
olives, black and green
canned cranberry jello-sauce, sliced
cranberry relish with actual cranberries (but probably also canned)

Georges D....f beaujolais nouveau
a really nice riesling-traminer
non-alcoholic bubbly things

Dessert:
Hershey's kisses, seasonal foil colors
dinner mints of various flavors
a couple of different hard candies with nuts
pumpkin pie
boughten apple pie (hey, it was free from work)
mince pie, no meat
sweet-potato pie, with coconut

Someday we will have the dinner at *my* house, and we will not have jello
salads. At all.

Margaret
