We recently got one of those phone-zapper thingies
that automatically deletes your number from the
databases of the automated calling computers
telemarketers use (means they stop calling you and
won't forward your number to other agencies that would
telemarket you because the computer thinks your number
doesn't exist anymore).

I was skeptical, but it seems to actually be working.
