I use a two-burner coleman stove. It will run off of 1# propane canisters.
I have an adaptor, and run mine off a 20# propane bottle.  It has a
self-cover and is very small and light.  I've also used American Camper
two-burner stoves, but they aren't as convenient, since they don't have a
cover.
