YES!  Wash them.  You can fill the little pumpkins up with stuff like
sausage stuffing, applesauce with pine nuts, mincemeat, apple
cider-spices-butter, oh~all sorts of wonderous things that strike your
fancy.  Then bake the little buggers.  They are great!
